Where is MEERA?

Our National Training and Technology Center

Located in Virginia, it serves as the central hub for all MEERA activity. The National Training and Technology Center (NTTC) host a variety of key programmatic functions and facilities including a MEERA National Teacher Training Lab, curriculum development offices and testing space, manufacturing and quality control department, and warehousing space. Essential functions taking place at the NTTC include:

Curriculum development and continuous improvement
Engineering and manufacturing of MEERA equipment and lab supplies
Regional Training Center support and coordination
Strategic partnership development
Equipment and consumable warehousing and distribution
Lab planning and layout assistance
Learning management system implementation
Data collection and analysis

The first MEERA schools are deploying in Michigan and Hawaii in the fall of 2025. Each region hosts one Regional Training Center (RTC) that supports the MEERA schools in the surrounding school divisions. The RTC will provide ongoing training and professional development, equipment training, and on-call support.
